Since the early 1990’s the number of kids living on the street has been increasing at an alarming rate in Senegal. These children do not have the access to the resources that would give them the power to change their lives – education, clean water, nutritious food and health care. This tragedy is eating away at every aspect of the Senegalese society. Despair and hopelessness is evident and heartbreaking in the eyes of these children.

Your donation will go toward the building of a feeding center that can feed breakfast to 100 children before school. The building will be 60 feet long by 24 feet wide and allow for a small stage and a small kitchen. The building will have simple wiring and water.

Of the 13.73 million people living in Senegal, 50% of them are uneducated and 100,000 children are living on the streets. Public schools struggle to offer a sound and consistent education, but private Christian schools are thriving. While public schools have a 40% success rate with advancement exams, private schools are soaring at 98% success with children consistently advancing onto the next level each year.
