“I love taking teams to Mexico because Jesus tells us to “Go and make disciples”. He doesn’t tell us to ‘go and do good things and leave” but “go and make disciples”. True discipleship requires relationship (at least for a time), and I love that we get to create ongoing relationships with the children we sponsor, the adults we interact with and the churches we support. I can see that through our trips with GO, we are truly fulfilling the Great Commission and being a part of discipling kids in Mazatlan.”
“My favorite part about being a leader on a trip is being able to see God move through the team while we are there and seeing how he changes each of us after we get home. We spend a lot of time preparing for the trip physically, emotionally and spiritually, and when we get there and I get to see those efforts in action, it is indescribable. To see the team love and give of themselves wholeheartedly and with joy. To hear my team talk about their plans to come again the following year, when we are only into day 2 of the trip. And nothing is more exciting than seeing people continue to live changed lives full of joy and servanthood after we return home.”
“God has really taught me that being a servant is a great thing, but the most important thing we can do to advance the kingdom is to pass on the heart of servanthood to others by teaching/modeling/equipping them to serve those around them that they can impact.“

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
